Lindsay, who’s currently receiving her master’s of science in the Anatomical Sciences program at Queen's University, loves spicy salmon hand rolls and new squat PRs. If left unattended, she can be found watching Game of Thrones, tanning while reading a trusty National Geographic magazine, or checking her never-ending pile of emails. Her next goals include travelling to Morocco to immerse herself in a new culture and getting an offer of admission from a Canadian medical school.

Laura Barr, Memorial University, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

Elliece Ramsey, University of Regina, Saskatchewan

Elliece Ramsey

Elliece is a third-year biology student at the University of Regina with a minor in statistics, and is a part of her school’s co-operative education program. In her spare time, she's a multi-instrumentalist, a fibre arts nerd dabbling in multiple disciplines, and she will not shut up about roller derby. If Elliece has learned anything from derby, it’s that when you get knocked down, you congratulate the skater that took you down and then you resolve to learn to hit like them. She’s still not sure if that applies to real life.

Some favorite hobbies of Sonya's include yoga, weightlifting, watching Netflix, cooking, crafting, and traveling. Her motto? “Help others in need, but most importantly, don’t forget to take care of yourself."

Jewel Bamby, Villanova University, Pennsylvania

Jewel Bamby

For Jewel, there's no greater service than to serve others. Studying psychology and philosophy has allowed her to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the human mind and thought. She also enjoys volleyball, writing, volunteering, and eating all kinds of foods.

Her sources of inspiration are more often than not in the form of quotes, her top one being: "Admire someone else's beauty without questioning your own." For fun, MaryAnne likes to get lost in make-believe mysteries in the form of Dan Brown and Sidney Sheldon books as well as try out new recipes from Pinterest. Her favorite foods are dumplings, peanut butter pretzels, and her mum's chapati (East African dish).

Mitch Wagenheim, University of Kansas

Mitch Wagenheim

Mitch is currently studying history, religious studies, and French. He's had a passion for history, especially European and British history, for as long as he can remember, and a newer, but deeper passion for sharing and teaching about God. He's also been a massive soccer fan for years, so when he's not studying, he's often on the field. A motto of life that Mitch tries to abide by is one of his favorite quotes from Winston Churchill: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
